Playable Games on the Asus EEE PC
Augmentator on youtube, has tested several popular games out on his EEE PC with his CPU overclocked to over 800Mhz. Some of the gaming results are surprising. The EEE PC is quite capable compared to what most would think.
You can watch the following videos on youtube of some of these games being demoed on the EEE PC. Halo and Unreal Tournament 2004 Oblivion and Morrowind AOE 2, Unreal Tournament, Half Life What surprised me the most is that Oblivion is somewhat playable on the lowest settings. The EEE can play most older games with no problem la. Even those old DOS games is playable with dosbox, i tested some old dos games such as X-Com : Enemy Unknown, Ultima 7 Black Gate and Ultima 8 : Pagan with no problem at all.
Other games i have on my EEE PC is : Heroes of Might and Magic 1-3 (all run with no problems, except 3 you need to run the resolution hack to 800x600 otherwise have to scroll), Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne (run but a little slow), Some emulators (Zsnes, Genesis and Gameboy advance). flash speicher |
